Multi-tasking!

We Cesky Terriers can turn our paws to ANYTHING!

We Cesky Terriers like to do all sorts of things. Of course, first and foremost we are family pets - we like nothing better than to be part of our family, and we don't really like being left out of anything that our humans are doing.

Some of us are show dogs too - being a show dog just means that you have a busy social calendar, and get to visit lots of different places. The other week we went to Wales! It's a different country to England, but a lot of my friends were there AND both my mum and I won our classes, so it was a successful visit!

A couple of days before that I did something new - and very exciting. I went mantrailing!!!

Silas has done this lots of times and he's very good at it, but this was my first attempt. I was a bit worried that I might not be any good, but he told me not to worry. "Just use your nose and your brain" he said. So I did just that. Once I worked out which smell I had to follow I was away. It isn't always easy because sometimes the wind blows the scent around, but I did what Silas had said, and used my nose to find it again. I was a bit worried, because I thought we were trailing a man - obviously a big, bad man - but instead I found a very nice lady and I got lots of treats and lots of praise. I can't wait to do it all again soon!
